Manage the saving capacity in Blogger

“Blogger actually never erases your picture although you don’t use that picture. The picture that is uploaded through blogger usually is saved automatically in Google Picasa.”.

Until now, there is no certainty about the saving capacity for the postings in Free Blogger. If you use FTP External (Private hosting), of course the saving capacity depends on the related hosting directory. How about the saving capacity for picture in Blogger? It’s different with the saving capacity for the postings. The saving capacity for picture in Blogger can be seen directly and the picture in Blogger is usually saved automatically in Google Picasa

The fast and easy way to see how much the saving capacity for picture that has been used is to check directly in Google manage storage. There are two capacity information that are shown, the capacity in Gmail and Picasa web Album.

I am certain that we often upload picture, and then cancel it to change the picture with another one. Although the picture is not used, the picture is still saved. In the login status in Google account, we can prove it by seeing the saved picture in Google Picasa. In here, we can easily manage the picture. Erasing some unused pictures means there is a restoration in the saving capacity. (Note: Pictures that are uploaded through blogger are usually marked with tiny blogger icon in down-left)
